It pays to serve Jesus

I've known there's a God up there all my life, some call Him the Almighty, the Most High, Elshadai and so on. I see him as an unfailing friend who is ever faithful. He reveals himself to me through His son Jesus Christ, although I have not seen Him physically, but I believe that He exists because I hear His voice from time to time and I can feel His presence. He talks to me as a friend and a father especially when I do things contrary to His will.
When I totally gave my life to Christ, I felt this inner joy in me and peace of mind like no other. It ain't easy, I must say to serve Jesus, but with God being on your side ''yes you can!''. I've been singing since I was nine years old and I have no regret serving the Lord with all my heart.
Sometimes I wonder why God allows evil to triumph, but when I take a closer look at it, I realise that evil does exist but as a child of God, you need not worry about it at all. I prefer to tell a person 'God loves you' rather than say 'the devil will destroy you if you don't repent today'. I am not saying that creating awareness of the wiles of the devil ain't good at all, but I realise that when it is frequently preached or talked about, it frightens people from the truth which is Jesus.
I give you a free offer today, serve Jesus with all your heart and you would never regret one bit!
He has changed my life, he can change yours too!
Maybe you're into music just as I am, and you're battling with singing gospel songs alone, you can start a new life today.
You may be into a habbit of smoking or drinking, you could even be filled with lust or masturbation and fornication, the Lord is calling you today. He's knocking at the door of your heart, welcome him into your heart today.
God bless you!

YADAH 2012 - Don Moen

The Governor of Delta state; Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in partnership with Midnight Crew decided to invite Don Moen for YADAH; an annual program which also marked the day Delta state was created. When I heard of the program on t.v, it was like a dream come true to me because I always wanted or desired to see Don Moen face-to-face. I was having a test that day in school, but I had to sacrifice it for the program. When it was time for Don Moen to minister, everyone stood up. The Governor had the privilege to welcome him on stage. He came with his violin and sat by the piano. He looked so confident and relaxed. When he began to sing, I could not help but cry in my heart. I could'nt bear it any longer, I had to sit down and write. Here was a man who forsook all for Christ, I wondered why he had so much to give and he gave it all for Christ's sake. He would have been a rock star or a Hip hop singer, but he chose to worship God all the days of His life. As I watched him play and sing, I began to think about myself, I play the piano, I sing too... Why can't I just be like him? The truth is; everyone has his destiny to fufil. May God bless you Don Moen and may you grow from strength to strength loving Jesus for the rest of your life! Don Moen taught me the power in gospel music; it's not about the chords or voices or tones or melody, but it is how filled you are with God's word and the Holyspirit... God bless you!

My music world!

The fastest way to pass a message to someone is through music! Music has a great influence on most of the actions we take as human beings. Music to me is a fufilment of destiny, it carries an unusal power takes hold of our emotions or feelings. Music influences the heart of a man a great deal! I got a great passion for music which has made me what I am today. It all started when I was 9yrs old, drums, guitar and the piano.
I saw musical instruments as a great aid to a man's musical desire. In this Blog, I would try as much as possible to explain the relationship between a musician, his instrument and God's power through my life experinces.
My name is Michael Oghenegawhanye Bezi, I was born in the year 1992 in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Priscilla Bezi. I stayed in lagos for the first 9yrs of my life. At that time, I knew nothing about music but I so much so loved the drums and I could play for hours, not on the drums but on tables, chairs and even on my body parts. It was kinda wierd though but I didn't really understand myself back then. I never knew why I did most of the things I did, come to think of it, I was just a kid... What was I supposed to think of? It was all fun to me back then, but as I began to grow, my passion for music increased a great deal!
When I got to delta state at the age of nine, I began to learn the drums and sing to! It was in a little church back then (R.C.C.G) "city of refuge" at Eku. I learnt how to sing the alto and play the drums a little bit, I would say that that was my musical foundation, It was fun and sometimes challenging but I enjoyed all of it. I remember when I sang a song during an alnight program titled "He would do it again" something happened; there had been no electricity supply in the area for quite sometime, but after I finished singing, the light came on and everyone cheered for Joy. I tried singing the song anytime there was no power supply and it worked for me, but after sometime, it stopped.
I left Eku for Obiaruku; it was the beginning of a new era in my music career, I was thought more on singing and drumming and I learnt a new instrument called the Piano! It was lots and lots of fun for me, But all this time, I never thought of putting into my music life. I thought music was all about melody, I never knew the power behind music. Although I was a Christian but I never knew how God works through music; He could drive away demons, raise the dead and equip a christian with power through music.
When I discovered the power in Music, I began to understand the story of David in the Bible in another dimension, I discovered that he was a man that was inspired by God in all that he did, he wrote the whole of psalms through God's inspiration. I would like to say "he was a man after God's own heart" but I would preferrably say "he is a man after God's own heart" because he still lives in heaven with God.
I love music because of God's power in it and I hope I would be able to share alot of it with you.
 God Bless you!
